When life seems dull and aimless……..

I can connect to the barren tree
That was throbbing once with life
With great glory and glee
Of dancing fruits and leaves!

With all the doubt and gripe
Was I once young and bright?
At the end is there light?
Will winter bring the spring?

Nature heals alls that broken
Is that one truth golden?
O Lord I wonder
If I will ever surrender!

Your loving mending ways
I resist and flounder
I have no one to blame
But my flippant nature!

Hold me in your tender arms
Bless and keep me safe
O Lord I implore thee
Save me with thy loving grace!
